REDI-PAK OPTIMA (R) corn husks are simply "the world's finest corn husks for tamales." We start with only the finest raw materials. We then carefully process and select them so that each and every Husk is usable to wrap your tamales. We then select them by size. There are 4 different sizes, and one of the sizes will be just right for your tamale. With all other husks you will find some that are too large, and some that are too small. With our REDI-PAK OPTIMA (R) corn husks, all of them will be just right. We count them and place 120 (10 dozen) huks spread open and cross stacked in a plastic net bag. What is their price per pound?
REDI-PAK OPTIMA (R) corn husks are not priced per pound. They are priced per package of 120 husks. The cost per pound is not important. Your cost per tamale (including labor and waste) is what is important.
Where do you produce and pack yor corn husks?
Mexico. The production of corn husks is very labor intensive. The corn must be picked by hand and not harvested by machinery. They are produced in our own plants (or in plants operating under our supervision and quality control). That is the only way we can guarantee quality. Every other corn husks distributor buys from someone, who buys from someone, who buys from someone, etc. That is another reason our corn husks are the best in the world.
Are your husks inspected and approved by the U.S. Dept of Agriculture and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration?
Yes. All of our corn husks are imported into the United States in full compliance with all rules and regulations of the United States Government. As a matter of fact the US Food and Drug Administration has found that our corn husks are of such high quality that they have granted to us (in writing) an exemption from the usual inspection and laboratory testing of corn husks.
Can you supply all of my needs for husks?
Yes. We ship to customers trhoughout the United States and many foreign countries. Many of our customers formerly found it necessary to warehouse large quantities of corn husks to assure their needs available. Those same customers now feel very confortable with weekly or monthly shipments from us throughout the year.
What is the shelf life or corn husks?
Unlimited. Keep them dry and away from fumes that could be absorbed in their vegetable fibres. As a test we placed corn husks in our warehouse in 1983. They are still in excellent condition.
How soon can I get your corn husks?
Today. We ship every week day from our warehouses in Starr County, Texas. We ship less than truckload lots by United Parcel Service. They can reach the most distant locations in the continental United States in 5 working days. Most destinations are reached in 3 days or less. UPS tell us that we are their largest shipper in South Texas. We ship our full truckloads by J B HUNT.

In the corn husk business for 25 years. Every improvement in the quality of corn husks was initiated by me. I am completely dedicated to the production and distribution of ready-to-use corn husks at reasonable prices.

Return them for a full refund. They are guaranteed. But it never happens. The only corn husks ever returned are because the customer selected the wrong size. Then we make sure that the has the size he needs.
